In December 2019, Nadia Maneechote walked away from her full time corporate job to explore the life of a freelance illustrator. She started her Etsy store in 2020 calling it "by Persimmon", inspired by her native name Lookplub (Persimmon in Thai) where she began selling her illustrations as art prints. Today, by Persimmon has grown to become a gift & stationery company carried by retailers across the U.S. & Canada.

 

Born raised in Bangkok, Thailand, Nadia draws her inspirations from dreamy places and personal experiences that provoke a sense of adventure and nostalgia. She is now based in Los Angeles, California.
